Card for Caitlin

With the invention of Facebook, it's been life-changing in being able to keep up with people you may never otherwise hear from. This is true for me and my Dad's side of the family since they primarily live in Tennessee and other parts of the midwest/south. Slowly but surely, most of my extended family has signed up and we've been able to keep in touch more often.

When my cousin (or second cousin or third cousin twice removed- whatever) messaged me saying she wanted a card for her daughter, I was so excited because I feel like I *know* her even though I probably haven't seen her in 10 years! Caitlin and I are Facebook buddies and she's off to her second year of college. I know she likes football games, writing on her Mom's Facebook wall, AND especially Bible verses! Caitlin's always posting some encouraging verse that I need to see at that very moment. When Tammy (her mom) asked me to make a card for her, I immediately thought it had to have something scriptural on it! :)

Caitlin's school colors are yellow and purple (which also happen to be the Lakers colors, and I've heard that today is the start of basketball season, so that's fitting). I tried to incorporate the colors as best as I could, so this is what I came up with.

Hi Friends! It's been a year and a half since I last posted on this website. That's pretty nuts! I don't know where the time goes. I've been doing youth group at my church since April 2009 and being with the kids and seeing how fast the school years and summers fly by(I think in terms of semesters now...again) is starting to make me feel really old.

Anyway, after much prodding from my very supportive friends, I've decided to be a little more diligent in my card-making. It's such a fun hobby but it always falls to the wayside.

May Day!

Tomorrow is May 1st--is anyone else in shock over that?! Where does the time go?! This Saturday, I'll be setting up a table at my friend's son's pre-school for their annual carnival. I've been trying to make as many cards as I can and it's tiring! My friend, Cara, came over and helped me label, stuff, and price! How sweet, huh? I didn't even ask her to; she volunteered! I'm a lucky chick, that's for sure.

Here are some examples of what I've been doing. I ordered some cute stamps but I don't think they'll be here in time to make anything before Saturday, so I've been trying to use stuff I don't usually use. This weekend, I finally inked this image by StampingBella. I added Crystal Effects to make the water look glossy (but I didn't add it until after the picture was taken-oops!).

I also made a few Mother's Day cards since that's creeping up, right around the corner! I embossed the cardstock with the Swiss Dots folder and loved the way it turned out. I've also picked up some brighter paper lately (getting pumped for summer!) and whipped up this card. I got the sentiment at Paper Source a while ago and have to remember to use it when Mother's Day rolls around. :)

I'm going to try to take some pictures of the carnival this weekend!

Big Bear Weekend

Hello! I'm currently drinking the best latte I've ever had and trying to survive the busiest week I've ever had (they go hand-in-hand in my book!). This weekend, I had the pleasure of attending a scrapbooking retreat in Big Bear (through Creative Memories). The weather was beautiful and the weekend was awesome! I'm exhausted, but can't wait to go back! I had to stop scrapbooking a while ago because I got too behind and was too overwhelmed to try and do a page about my 20th birthday (I'm a month away from being 23). So while I was up there, I made about 40 cards-yay! I haven't taken pictures yet, but I have some pictures from my cell phone I'll share!

I had two suitcases--the BIG one was for craft supplies. The little one had clothes. Never thought I'd see the day... ;)

My table...yikes! Gotta do what you gotta do. Ya, that's a Starbucks in the corner.

Cell phone picture, so not too fancy. Our friend is having a baby this fall and I was experimenting with shower invitations! I think this was our favorite.

I'll be posting some Mother's Day cards and more of what I did this weekend tonight!

Wow, I am the worst blogger ever. I've been swamped with work lately and can't get motivated to blog. I put it on my "to do" list though, so now it has to be done.

Birthday Bellas

This weekend FLEW by, as they all do. I've been working on tons of cards for the fundraiser that I'll be a vendor at for my friend's son's preschool. It's not until May, but seeing how fast the last two months have flown, I'm not going to procrastinate on this one. ;)

I made both of these cards using the Birthday Basics kits from TayloredExpressions. Quick and easy cards. I'm not stoked on how the pictures came out, but you get the idea!

Birthday Set

Work has been keeping me pretty swamped lately. We had a fourth round of major layoffs (the joys of working in Real Estate during one of the greatest recessions ever). It's sad and hard, but we have to keep pressing on! Needless to say, that doesn't leave much time for card-making. :( I found those little clear boxes that can hold a set of cards, so I wanted to make a simple card to make six of and put in a set. This is what I came up with. So simple, but perfect for a set.

I CASE'd it from a card I saw on SCS. So, the cupcake is leaning a little bit but I liked how it looked better than when it was laying flat. I think the Bella is about to fall off the cupcake. Maybe she's been celebrating her birthday a little too long. ;)

Big on Spring

Happy day-after-Valentine's everyone! Hopefully it was enjoyable and filled with love and hearts and glitter and everything Valentines-ish. Is anyone else ready for Spring?! I am! It's been raining here in Southern California for the last week or so (intermittently, of course), but it's so inconvenient! I love it and we definitely NEED it, but after a while it is just a mess. I know, we are so spoiled! A few of my friends are planning spring/summer weddings, so I thought I'd make a springy Bride-to-Be card, using the "Big on Spring" SU set. I looove that set. I think I use this stamp the most, but the others are so fun, too. I'm making an honest effort to try and use all the stuff I've piled up over the last year instead of buying new stuff. So far, so good. Although this economy is very tempting with all of its deals! ;)

Hello! I can't believe it's already Wednesday- AND already January 28th! Weren't we just saying "Happy New Year"? My friend just asked me what my Valentine's Day cards were going to look like and I froze. Valentine's Day?! What the heck?! My brain still hurts from doing my Christmas cards. This year is already flying by. Now I have hearts and glitter on the brain. Can't wait!

I try and try to use my Stampin' Up sets and Bellas and all these other brand new stamps, but I always fall back on the ones I have used a million times. I love this little monkey with flowers from Stampendous. How could you not? He's so romantic. ;) I used the Fiskars water thread punch to make the border of the yellow. I love that thing. The flowers are Primas with little gems in the center. I made a card identical to this one but I put mini brads in the center instead of gems and I like it so much better. I just didn't get a chance to photograph it.

Girly Birthday

I loooove Bellas! I have so many that haven't even been used because I see them and have to have them. Eventually I'll ink them up and share the joy. :)

I colored the Bella in Prismacolor and added Crystal Stickles to the "frosting". I inked around the edge of the white circle (sort of hard to see in this picture). It came together so quick and is one of my favorites! It helps that I'm a fan of hot pink. ;)

Baseball Birthday

Does anyone else find it REALLY hard to make cards for boys/men? I mean, it's hard enough to BUY them, let alone make them. I love this Stampendous monkey and sentiment because they're definitely boyish, but they can be for girls, too. I might've sealed this card's gender fate by coloring the gum pink, but bubble gum is ALWAYS pink. Boys have to know that! ;)

My friend's son is having a fundraiser at his school in May and she's asked me to be a "vendor", aka set up a table and try to sell stuff. :) I'm excited that she thought of me, but now I actually have to make cards. I guess that's a good thing. We'll see!

Please Pray!

Good Afternoon! This is the first Saturday in a while that hasn't been booked solid full of errands and other activities so I got to sit down and make a card. :) My friend's baby was recently admitted to the hospital (you can read more about that here) and I can only imagine how tired and ready to go home they are! They are so faithful and there are so many people praying for them and their baby, Taylor, is showing so many signs of improvement! God is so good. I whipped up a card for them but I wasn't really crazy about sending a "Get Well Soon" card. I remembered I had ordered some Verve Stamp Bible Verses and decided that was definitely a better idea. I'm trying to use stuff I ALREADY have which is WAY more than anyone could ever need. When I want to do retail therapy but I'm stuck at work, I buy stamping stuff because you don't need to try it on! Ugh, it's dangerous. My resolution for 2009 is to get rid of all the embellishments, paper, stickers, and so on that I have collected the past year. Yikes! Anyway, I love the verse that is on this card and I hope they continue to feel everyone's prayers.

Doodlebug Christmas

I can't believe Christmas is only three days away! I have so much to do before then...and so much to wrap! I was lucky to get my Christmas cards done on time. :) I picked up this Doodlebug paper at a scrapbook store in Monrovia and have been using it on everything.

First, my Christmas cards. I used Real Red from SU for the base and used the Stamping Bella image, colored in Prismacolors. She's so cute!! I also used the scalloped and circle Nesties and popped it up with 3D tape.

My sister and I went to a gift exchange over the weekend and we found a really soft microfiber blanket (who doesn't like those?), but the label was hideous so I figured I could cover it. I used Real Red again, but stamped a snowflake in Colorbox Frost White and put glitter over it to make them sparkle. I think I'm the only one that cared about the label, but it was fun anyways! And finally, I wanted to use the rest of the Doodlebug before Christmas was over and it got stuffed away to *maybe* be used next year (it wouldn't). I used the Fiskars water threading border punch for the bottom of the card. I used the Nesties again, then inked around the side of the white circle to add some color.

Roses Are Red

Hi Everyone!! I am in the middle of redoing this website...as in I am having a graphic designer create a banner for it! That's about it, but still, moving in the right direction. I started making cards again this last week and I realized how relaxing and fun it is! My Christmas cards were even fun to make, although extremely time consuming. I swore to myself that this is the only year that I'll handmake them, but I know in a year, I'll totally be amped to do them again.

For my birthday (in June), my SU demo got me this SU set and I didn't use it until this last week. Oops! The card base is SU Real Red, image stamped in Palette Black Noir, and patterned paper from my LSS (but not sure what company it is). I used center kisses for the corners and white glaze pen to add a small border.

Hello! I am blogging for the second time this week! It's a miracle! ;-) The extra hour we gained today really gave me a boost I guess. First of all...speaking of blogging...you MUST go check out www.deepquestions.net and answer the Question of the Day! There is a new one posted every day and they really make you think! All the cool kids are doing it so GO! :-) Ok, now that that's out of the way...

...there were a couple birthdays this month, so a group of us got together and went WINE TASTING in Temecula! If you aren't from California, Temecula is known for its vineyards and wineries, so it was awesome! I had to make three cards and there was a color theme for each of the birthday boys and girl, so I followed it. Obviously these were pretty snappy to make. The balloon stamp was just hangin' out in a box I had and it was unisex so I grabbed it! It's hard to use Bellas on boy cards. ;-) It's hard to use ribbon and glitter on boy cards, but they will just have to deal with it! The balloons are colored in Prismacolors (love 'em Taylor!!!!), and covered in Crystal Stickles to jazz it up. The cardstock is SU!

And here we are wine tasting! There were about 26 of us and we got to take a chartered bus! It was so fun!

Hello!! I must warn you...my hands are about to fall off from all the typing/crafting I've done in the last four days...so this will be short. I made this card for a friend from church who is going through a lot right now. She has brown hair and I have blonde hair, so that's where the color inspiration came from. ;-) The image is StampingBella (so cute!), colored in copics, and I added Crystal Stickles to the dots on the girl's dress. The sentiment is also StampingBella.

Wow, I'm so bad at updating this blog, it's pathetic. I'm really going to try harder!!! I just found out we get two mental health days off of work...so maybe I'll use one to try and be creative!! ;-)

This card is from one of Taylor's challenges a while ago. The cupcake is from Inkadinkado and they are colored in Copics. The sentiment is from "Mixed Messages" from PapertreyInk and the DP is SU! Hi everyone! I'm in the middle of getting ready for a trip to Bass Lake with my family...I'm stoked! I need a week off badly! We are taking a motor-home and meeting up with my mom's twin brother and his family and some family friends as well. There are going to be about 25 people so it's gonna rock! :-)

Here is my submission for TECC27. This is a 5.5x5.5 card base. The image is from Stamping Bella, colored in Copics. The sentiment is from PapertreyInk's "Mixed Messages" which are adorable. I chose the "Embrace Happiness" stamp because they are embracing- get it? :-) I love this sketch and will for sure be using it again! Thanks Taylor. :-)

10 Days!

Not that anyone's counting! So the big day is rapidly approaching! My party is this weekend, finals are next week (piece of cake, seriously) and then the ceremony is next Saturday. Seriously, my stomach is churning just thinking of it. Yesterday, one of my Professors gave us a very sad parting speech and it really made me realize how different life will be without seeing everyone at school all the time. It's not like graduating High School where you go to MORE school after summer. There are no more summer vacations! It's just crazy to think about and I don't want to be emotional but I can't help it! Ugh, I'm such a girl. Anyways, a daughter of my parent's friends is graduating as well so I made this card for them to give to her. Pretty EASY considering Deb stamped the DiplomaBella onto cardstock and sent me 35 (all the way from New York!!!)...how nice is that?? It was so fun to get some fun Bellas to stamp! Thanks for your RAK, Deb! I put some Primas on for a little pizazz and bam, there's a Graduation card! Thanks for lookin'! Have a fabulous evening! xo.

Friday Night Hotties!

I'm in a Bible Study on Friday night...thus the title of this post- Friday Night Hotties! I like to make things for other people on occasion (hehe) so I decided to make these little spiral-bound notecard packs for them. I used some DP from Michael's for the background, and then stamped the flowers in Color Box Dusty Rose and Moss Green. I colored the flowers in Copics and added a little gem in the middle. The names are stamped in Palette Noir Black and are from the Stampendous alphabet set called Storybook. They are currently on sale at Eclectic Paperie so get them while they're hot! I only had to make 9 for the girls in my study, but then of course my mom wanted one for each and every person on the planet that she knows. Basically, don't go to any office supply stores in Orange County because they're all out of spiral notecards!

On another note, I'm sooo glad this week is over! I gave my 40 minute senior presentation on Wednesday and breathed a huge sigh of relief when it was over! I feel like a load has been lifted! OH, and I also had a miraculous event happen! About three weeks ago, my computer WOULD NOT turn on at all...it just wouldn't turn on! I was so mad because I was five weeks away from Graduating and all the sudden I have computer issues. So I took it into the store and they said I would probably lose everything (pictures, iTunes, etc). The lady said she would try to save it and if she could it would be $50 which, of course, I agreed to. Well, she called and said that they couldn't save anything so I was bummed. My whole life is on this computer. I know, I know- I should have backed up! Ah. So I picked it up yesterday and turned it on- EVERYTHING IS STILL HERE! I don't know what happened but nothing was erased and I didn't pay a dime to have it fixed. Praise the Lord!

I got my Eclectic Paperie order in the mail and was sooo GIDDY about it. I love getting packages in the mail and let me tell ya, my packages have increased since I started stamping! I can't resist those online stores! Anyway, this "Happy" stamp by Stampendous was one of my arrivals and I love it! I used it on a few cards already because...I'm graduating in two and half weeks and I'm HAPPY! I used the DCWV pre-printed cards because they are so bright and cheery like this stamp. I stamped the flowers with Palette Noir Black and colored them with Copics. I added Crystal Stickles because, let's face it, they go with everything. The ribbon is from JoAnn's. I've been reading some bad reviews on SCS about ordering on JoAnn's website so do your research! I just go to the physical store to get all my stuff. This card is basically the same, just using Paper Source card stock and Michael's DP and ribbon. Oh, and I inked all around the white with CB Sunflower to give it a little flair. I guess it doesn't show up that well in the pictures but you get the idea! Thanks for looking and have a great evening! xo.

Flower Power

Two days in a row of posting! Yay, gotta love weekends! I decided to case Taylor's card because I love the bow in the corner of the card and I had a flower set that had never been inked yet! So here it is. The card stock is Paper Source, the ribbon is from Michael's, the stamps were an inexpensive find at Wal-Mart, the sentiment is stamped in Palette Noir Black and is from SU! The leaves are stamped in CB Moss Green and the flowers are CB Sunflower. The flowers are colored in Copics and there is a gem in the middle with Crystal Stickles on the outside of them!

Wow, seriously...I've been SO BUSY lately that I have not even had time to stamp. I know, it's a serious crime. With only 3 weeks left of school, there is a lot on my plate but I'm trying my best to persevere. I saw Taylor's challenge and I decided to put off everything to participate! Good decision, right? So here's my submission to Taylor's challenge. I used my "Happy Spring" stamp by Stampendous because, let's face it, the southern California weather has been AMAZING lately! It definitely feels like spring has sprung! And not a moment too soon. :-) The orange card stock is from Paper Source. I love their products because they are super thick and great quality. The ribbon (grosgrain) and the striped paper are from Michael's. The brads are Making Memories and the sentiment is colored in Copics! Crazy Color Birthday!

Happy Saturday everyone!! It's been a crazy week with school coming to an end. I'm ready for it to be OVER!!!

I love this card because of all the fun colors and the glitter. That's how birthdays should be right? Sparkly and colorful!! The paper and ribbon are from Michael's, the sentiment is part of the "Birthday Best" SU set. It actually says "Happy Birthday Today, Happy Times All Year" but I put tape over the rest of the stamp so it just says "Happy Birthday." The cupcake is also from the same set. I added Crystal Stickles to top it off and voila!

Copic LOVE!

I received my Copics in the mail today...so exciting!! I've barely had a chance to try them out because I have been running around like crazy...too many papers and projects!!! School is cramping my stamping style. So far they are amazing though- the best part being the lack of streaks! That was a huge problem with my other markers. I LOVE to color, so I was advised to invest in Copics. Of course, they're extremely expensive but getting them a few at a time should work out ok. I got mine at DickBlick.com, although I've heard they are cheaper other places.

Thinking of You

Do you ever have those days where it feels like everything just hits you all at once? Today was one of those days! My friend Michael who I worked with for over a year (we shared an office) just told me that he's moving to back to Pennsylvania. Then I get an invitation in the mail for my friend Deborah (freshman year of college roomie) and her husband's going away party. They are moving to Kansas for her husband's new job. And THEN, I realized that in four weeks, I won't see all my college buds on a weekly basis anymore! Yikes!!! I'm totally bummed. I hate change sometimes. I know it will be great in the long run, but all I can think about is how I will miss my friends and my "youth"...in a way. I can honestly say that I've enjoyed being young. I mean, I still AM young, but I've definitely changed a lot and have learned from everything that I've gone through and I'm so thankful.

ANYWAYS...I made this card a month ago but I haven't had time to make anything new so this is what you get! I was just talking to my mom about how my cards have changed so much since I first started making them. I look back and think "What the heck???" Haha. I have gotten such great tips from the ladies (and gents!) on SCS and from Taylor. I went to a couple of Taylor's classes and she's AMAZING so check out her blog ASAP. About the card, I used an embellishment I found at my LSS, organdy ribbon and paper from Michael's, and I honestly don't know where I got the stamp. Probably Michael's! My home away from home.

Embossing Folder Fun

Get ready for another pun! I had tons of fun with puns (haha) this weekend. I inked the "Thank Ewe" stamp and the card is ADORABLE, but I decided that it won't be complete until I get some white Fun Flock for wool. :-) My sister can attest that within 4 minutes of finding the Michael's ad in the newspaper, I was in my car and on my way! They are having a MAJOR sale this week so stamp and scrap addicts should head on over. I used my 40% coupon to get the square dies for my Cuttlebug and the Cuttlebug embossing folders are 50% off. Actually, all Cuttlebug products are- yay!!! So I wanted to try the dots embossing folder and I LOVE it already! It gives the card so much pizazz for just a little effort! Plus, how clean is it? There's no ink, powder, glitter, glue, or anything else sticky and gooey involved!

So for this card, I used the Happy Bird-day stamp this time. 5 Weeks and Counting!

Here are the Graduation party invitations I made. The paper is from Paper Source and the ribbon was a lucky find at Michael's. I didn't want anything with polka dots and luckily I found this ribbon that was perfect for what I had pictured. I had to blur out the location and my phone number because the last thing I need at my party is the Paparazzi!

I told my mom today that in 4 weeks, we'll be wrapping up my Graduation party and in 5 weeks she will be the mother of a college grad. I don't think she was super excited with that thought...especially since I told her she was getting old. BUT, I can get away with it because my mom is a hottie and she's still young compared to other moms!

Enough Graduation talk! I'm getting too excited!

Don't you love puns? I got the Pun Fun set from SU and I'm so excited. It was the first set that I decided was a MUST buy from the new SU catalog. I think my favorite one is "Love You a Latte" so I will probably be inking that one up next. In the meantime, I was in a frog rut and I had to climb out of it! No more frogs for a while. I used Taylor's sketch again, minus the circle, because it's pretty easy to do and it looks adorable!! This purple flower paper was something I picked up at Michael's, along with the polka dot ribbon. The skunk is colored with Copics. The flower is accented with my favorite, Crystal Stickles!!!

On a completely unrelated note, I'd like to say that I do not approve of John Krasinski's recent fame. For those who do not know my husband, he plays Jim in The Office on NBC, was in the [awful because of Mandy Moore] movie, License to Wed, and now he's starring in the movie Leatherheads with George Clooney. Although I love him and wish him all the success, all these girls are NOW in love with him. Basically I discovered him/fell in love with him first and I'm staking my claim. K, had to get that off my chest!

Cupcake Challenge...minus the cupcakes!

Here is my card for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #10. Of course, had to use the Unfrogettable set. Actually, I was going to use something else, but I saw this paper at Tall Mouse and had to have it and it made me think of frogs. Maybe I just have frogs on the brain...who knows. Anyway, the frog stamp is actually from Paper Source, but the sentiment is SU.

After uploading this picture, I realized my bow needs a little adjustment but hey...my camera battery is dying and I'm using my sister's laptop (thanks Al) to do this so time is limited! My computer is totally on the fritz; it won't even turn on. :-( NOT good news for a college student. AND, on that note, I picked up my cap and gown yesterday!!! Only five more weeks!!!

UnFROGettable

I got my new Stampin' Up sets and stamped the night away last night! I just love these little frogs and sentiments...so fun!! Once I'm done being sick and have more energy, I'm going to make a ton of these because they are adorable! I also got the "Pun Fun" set which I'm stoked to use as well. Back to the card...it's obviously SU stamps, Michael's grosgrain ribbon over the sentiment, non-SU DP for the background, and the wings of the bug are shaded with Copic Sketch C1 and accented with Crystal Stickles (my fav!!) Very easy to make!

Side note: I pick up my cap and gown tomorrow!!!!! Less than six weeks til I'm a FREE woman!

Monkey Business

I got this monkey stamp from EP (if you haven't checked them out- do!) and I just LOVE it. It's such a good stamp for a guy's birthday card (of course, it works for girls, too!) Either way, I didn't add many embellishments in case a guy's birthday pops up. Obviously I added Crystal Stickles to the border of the "Happy B-day" frame because I am obsessed with them! ;-)

I'm about to go pick up my Stampin' Up order so I'm sure there will be another post soon! xo.

I basically spent the whole morning trying to figure out my Cuttlebug (the joys of unemployment) and I finally got it down! Here is the first card I've made with the machine (the tag and the postage stamp shaped squares are die cuts). I love the springy colors! Now I'm itching to get some more dies! So I went out and got a CUTTLEBUG today!!! Usually I would never get one BUT Michael's was having a 50% off any item thing going on...how could I resist? I'm pretty stoked to start using it!

On a TOTALLY unrelated note, if you haven't heard the song "Question" by Rhett Miller, you should definitely listen to it. I'm sure it's on YouTube. It's adorable.

Also, I'm still sick, and it looks like it's Acute Bronchitis. :-( No fun, but at least I have tomorrow to rest. AND I'm getting my Stampin' Up order tomorrow, so add THAT to the Cuttlebug excitement...what could be better?! I'll probably forget I'm sick while I'm stamping and cuttlebugging away. :-)

Ok, so I just spent like 20 minutes staring at my name and I'm cross-eyed. I started noticing everyone using the cute little name signatures so I picked one out. 120 fonts later of just my name, it starts to not even look like my name anymore. Ya know? Crazy.

This is a little card I made today, just because I was bored. 6 weeks from Graduation, you'd think there'd be some school assignment I could work on right? Stamping always takes precedence. Also, my mom is my #1 fan (as it should be!) and she wanted something homemade to give her friends for their birthdays this month. I wrapped some ribbon around these cute jars and stuck a tag on them with a brad. The "Happy Happy Birthday" and flower stamp are both SU. The ribbon is from JoAnn's fabrics, and the jar is from Wal-Mart! Haha. The flower is accented with Crystal Stickles.

Alright so I know it's a little early...but I'm so excited to graduate, I can't even stand it. I just got done doing a PowerPoint project on Mother Teresa on a Friday night. Ok so I know Mother Teresa was a great woman but she's hogging my Friday night so I'm not that excited about her right now.

Anyways, this is one of the cards that I had available at the party and the three that I had sold. I made two more after the party so those are available now.

My family and I are off to San Jose tomorrow morning for Easter weekend, so I won't be blogging. Enjoy the Holiday! xo.

Good evening! I'm in my Gospel of Mark class right now but we are on a little break so I decided to post for the two people who actually look at this site! Haha. Thanks you two! This is probably one of my favorite cards that I've made. I can't put my finger on why. The flowers are from Scrappin' In The Hills in Anaheim Hills, paper and ribbon from Michael's. The flowers and image are 3D using pop dots.

I didn't realize how much I liked frogs until I started stamping them. If I ever had to hold one, I'd still freak out and scream but they are very cute on paper. The frog and "Happy Birthday" stamp are both from Paper Source in South Coast Plaza. They don't have that many locations but I love their store!

Pretty soon I'll be getting my Stampin' Up order with the "Unfrogettable" set. You'll be seeing a lot more frogs very shortly. :-)
